Ann E (White) LaBeau

Ann E. (White) LaBeau with her husband Boyd

Boyd and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary on June 20th, 2005. We have three sons, six grandchildren and two great granddaughters. We are basically a construction family. Our oldest works with us in our business (MBA LaBeau Wood Erectors, Inc.), our second son is a foreman for a prominent interior construction company and our youngest is head of distribution for one ofthe local papers.

We are a small subcontracting company that sells and installs structural laminated wood products such as those found in church roofs. Approximately 95% of our business is with churches but we also do private residents, shelters and anything that requires the big timbers. In our 20 years of business we have been in numerous states. The combined years of experience with our employees is about 80 years. We began as installers for Glulam and evolved into representatives for a company located in Alabama (see enclosed brochure).

I retired over 5 years ago but still, on occasion, do consulting work. My husband and son continue to work the business.

This will be the first reunion I have attended and I am looking forward to the event.
