After graduation I attended MIZZO where I received a BS and MRS.   My degree was in elementary education and Arnold Potts was the reason for the MRS.  We were married in August, 1958. We have four wonderful children and 12 super grandchildren.  All live fairly close to St. Louis except for our oldest daughter and her  three children that live in NJ.  (She lost her husband in the 9-11 terrorist’s attack.)  Our son has his medical practice in Washington, MO and our two youngest daughters live in Wildwood and Cottleville.

We moved to Lake St. Louis after living in Bridgeton for 33 years.  I retired from the Pattonville School District in 1993.  Arnold had retired two years earlier, but  he continued to work for Southeast MO University part time for another 7 years.

We have retired from working for a salary, but we remain very busy taking care of my mom who is 90 and Arnold’s dad who is 95.  We thank God every day that they are in good health for their ages, perhaps better than most.  Arnold teaches adult Sunday School and is on the Vantage Credit Union Board.  I work with the children’s Sunday School and volunteer at the local Christian thrift store. What time is available our 12 grandchildren and their activities seem to absorb.
